NEW TRAINING TIMES – WOODSIDE
Due to the popularity of the Woodside club and the large amount of students attending we have had to split the club. Starting from Tuesday 29th September the new training times will be as follows
RAINBOWS (under 8yrs) 6pm – 6:30pm
JUNIORS 6:30pm – 7:15pm
ADULTS 7:15pm – 8:30pm
Rainbows which have attained the grade of purple belt or above may also train with the Junior class, however this is to supplement their training within the rainbow class.

ADDITION TO FIFE TKD SYLLABUS – 4 DIRECTIONAL KICKING
There has been an addition to the Fife Taekwondo Group syllabus. There is now a 4 directional kicking drill added to each grade as follows. This has been added to develop the technical kicking abilities of all students. Not only must the student be able to perform the kick but they should also be able to understand the principles and application of each kick performed.
White Belt- Front Kick, Yellow Stripe – Side Kick, Yellow Belt – Turning Kick, Green Stripe – Hook kick, Inward and Outward moving Crescent Kick, Green Belt – Axe Kick, Twisting Kick, Blue Stripe – Reverse side Kick, Double turning kick, Blue Belt – Reverse Turning Kick, Revere Hook Kick, Jumping Front Kick, Red Stripe – Flying side kick, reverse hook kick turning kick, Red Belt – Jumping reverse side kick, jumping reverse turning kick, jumping 360 degrees turning kick
YELLOW STRIPE-GREEN STRIPE TECHNICAL TRAINING
Technical training is now available to all yellow stripe to green stripe students. The class takes place every Sunday and costs only £1!
The session will focus on the technical aspects of Taekwondo such as Patterns, Techniques and pre-set sparring drills.
Please speak to your instructor who will confirm times venue etc!
SENIOR TECHNICAL TRAINING
Senior technical training will now be taking place every Sunday. The training is open to students, green belt and above. The session will last approximately 1 hour and will concentrate on patterns, techniques, pre-set sparring drills and other technical aspects of Taekwondo.
The session is not a formal class and do-boks are not required however feel free to wear them if you wish.
If you wish to attend please speak to your instructor who will update you with details regarding the venue and times etc as these may change week to week.
ITS SCOTLAND – SQUAD TRAINING
In preparation for next years Fight Night and international events at The ITS British Championships, Scotland Squad training will now take place every Friday.
The training is open to all adult students however you must have the approval of your club instructor on a weekly basis before you attend. The training session only lasts one hour however it will be very physically demanding so if attending you must be prepared to give it your all!
